Action Learning
ACTION LEARNING
is the concept of active learning, which is based on experience. Unlike traditional learning methods dominated by the transmission and acquisition of knowledge in action learning the base is experience of the person who is learning. The premise of this approach is that the man learns from the interaction of different types of own activity – intellectual and emotional, the inward (e.g. analysis, reflection) and outward (e.g. acting, contact with the environment).
Workshops and training based on this concept provide development experiences to participants by various, active techniques of group work, such as working in small teams, working in pairs, drawings, collage, mini-lecture, discussion, drama, working with the body, brainstorming , case studies, filling in worksheets, etc. Based on these activities, participants draw conclusions and plan to use the skills acquired in their environment.
