Horse Assisted Education
HORSE ASSISTED EDUCATION (HAE) is a growing method of human development, which involves horses. The aim is widely understood development of the person. Their self-awareness, skills, psychological and social assistance, and change is being sought. The essence of this method is to create a space in which we experience ourselves in a relationship with the horse. In this space one can intensively experience their inner world (feelings flowing from the body, emotions, thoughts, tendency to interpret what we see and feel in a certain way). We are in a situation where we contact with a representative of another species, which gives us attention and naturally responds to our presence and behaviours. We have the opportunity to learn through direct participation in the relationship. There are no signposts, proven recipes and techniques proceedings. Each step results from the acquisition of responsibility, courage and decision. Learning is multi-level, involves the whole person and takes place in a real situation.
Areas of application of the method:
- Developing leadership skills
- People management
- Team building
- Communication and assertiveness
- Shift management
- Creativity and problem solving
